Your journey to becoming a Warhawk can begin in high school! The Dual Enrollment program at the University of Louisiana Monroe offers high school students at participating schools the opportunity to simulateneously earn college credit and meet the requirements for high school graduation. Courses are taught either at the high school or online by SACSCOC-qualified Instructors.

Dual Enrollment Students are ËÄÉ«AV Students

As a participant in the ËÄÉ«AV Dual Enrollment Program, this means you are a ËÄÉ«AV student! You receive all resources and benefits accessible only to ËÄÉ«AV students.

ËÄÉ«AV Student Benefits and Resources

• Free tutoring - The Student Success Center and various academic departments offer free tutoring in subjects like English, math, and more.
• Free computer labs - You can come to the ËÄÉ«AV Library during open hours and use any computers, books, and research platforms.
• Unlimited printing - Using your Warhawk ID, you can print for free at ËÄÉ«AV.

ËÄÉ«AV Academic Calendar and Final Grades

All grading in Dual Enrollment classes follow ËÄÉ«AV academic integrity policies. Once final grades are entered, ËÄÉ«AV cannot change your grade in your transcript. If you are enrolled in an online Dual Enrollment course, your class will follow ËÄÉ«AV’s academic calendar, which may differ from your high school’s academic calendar. Pay close attention to midterm and final dates. If you withdraw from a Dual Enrollment course, be sure to do so before the ËÄÉ«AV Academic Calendar’s drop date. This is to ensure you do not receive a failure on your transcript or owe tuition. Direct all questions about withdrawals to your high school’s Dual Enrollment contact as soon as possible. If you transfer to another high school, let your Dual Enrollment contact know immediately.

FERPA

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects student records from outside sources. This means that ËÄÉ«AV cannot release any of our students’ data, including grades, to parents without a FERPA waiver. Click here to complete a FERPA waiver.

How to Apply for Dual Enrollment at ËÄÉ«AV

1. Complete an online ËÄÉ«AV application. Use student's full, legal name.

2. Pay the application fee (available online in your application). If paid by check or money order made out to ËÄÉ«AV, include the student's full, legal name.

3. Submit your official high school transcript.

4. Submit your official, electronic ACT score. If not sent to ËÄÉ«AV at time of test, go to . The ACT code for ËÄÉ«AV is 1598.

5. Complete and sign the ËÄÉ«AV Dual Enrollment Signature Page. Please ensure steps 1 through 4 are complete and all signatures are signed before submitting the Signature Page to your school's DE contact.

These five steps are required for any student who has never applied, any student who has applied but did not enroll in courses, any student who has applied but was not admitted, or any student who has not registered for DE courses in a year or more.

Requirements for Participation

In order for students to be enrolled in courses, the following conditions apply:

1. Must be at least a sophomore in high school
2. Admitted to ËÄÉ«AV prior to the posted deadline
3. All course prerequisites are met
4. Requested courses are on the SACSCOC-approved course list for the student’s high school

Requirements for participation in 2024-2025 dual enrollment courses on the Master Articulation Matrix:

1. A minimum 2.5 cumulative high school GPA, as determined by the high school;

AND

2. Subject-specific demonstration of readiness in Mathematics (for mathematics and science courses) or English (for English, foreign language, history, social science, humanities, or arts survey courses) through either:

•Subject-specific minimum scores on any assessment listed in Academic Affairs Policy 2.22, listed below. ËÄÉ«AV will continueÌýto accept the same subject-specific assessment eligibility scores as previous academic years.
